I had originally planned on having an outdoor wedding/reception next summer with my colors as pink and light yellow with burlap accents. This indiana summer is killing me and i have no idea how it will be next year. I am wanting to change the reception to an indoor venue and want to keep all the same colors and design schemes, especially the burlap? Would this look silly in an indoor venue? I have only seen burlap and pink used in an outdoor setting. If any of you have pictures of it used indoors it would definitely help!!! Thanks in advance! 🙂

I think it will be fine as long as you choose a venue that it fits well with. Obviously a ballroom isn’t going to work. we’re doing burlap and red indoors in December, so you should be good. 🙂
These photos are indoors. There’s no pink or yellow, but I could easily see both colors fitting well!

I would say if you have your ceremony/ reception in a “country”, or very simple venue, it would work well. Colleges and universities near you may have something appropriate.
You might want to check out:
Skinner Farm Village
Midamerica Windmill Museum
Billie Creek Village
You might also want to invest/ rent some of those giant fans that also blow cool sprays of water on people, or even have it on some higher ground for some breezes during the hot summer.

I definitely think a burlap/pink wedding could work indoors! I tried googling pictures, but didn’t find anything that fit that description. But, I’m envisioning that within a venue with wooden walls (even without … but, this is just my imagination) burlap and pink could work beautifully! Especially if you incorporate the burlap into table runners, chair covers/embellishments, and in many small ways so that it is present in a subtle manner.
Good luck with your wedding planning!
