I would not think anything of it. You can buy the magnet sheets and glue the business cards to them. IDK if you really wanted magnets but here’s another option- vistaprint also does really cheap postcards. I got 250 of them for $6.

Im scratching STD’s all together.  I’m on a budget and they seemed unnecessary to me. (:

Just a note about vistaprint…we are looking at making reception directions using business cards for our Out of Town guests and noticed that you have to mark (and pay $3) not to have their logo on the back just before checkout. If its going to be covered by the magnet I wouldn’t worry about it, but we figured it was worth three bucks not to look TOO cheap lol

I think business card Save-The-Date Cards will be cool. Will you mail them in an envelope? I like the idea of postcards too because then you don’t need to buy envelopes and postage is less, too.

If you’re not set on doing paper Save-The-Date Cards, you could check out http://www.paperlesspost.com . It’s like evite but niftier. That’s what we used for ours.

If you sign up for the Vistaprint emails, they’ll start sending you emails for free postcards/business cards/magnets/etc. You just have to pay shipping. I think I got 100 postcards for like $7 and 25 magnets for $7. Then you just have to place several orders to get the quantity you need.

@pinkshoes: I think I created an account and they sent me the deal via e-mail. It was a while ago though.

A lot of times vistaprint has HUGE sales where something is free and all you have to pay is shipping. I just ordered 200 postcards (for our Out of Town bags), 250 business cards (for photo sharing) and 140 return address labels (with my new last name!) and it only cost me like $14.00 because all I paid was shipping and then also like $1.99 to upload my own photos. I dont know how these deals happen but you could google them. Also, we just did STD postcards and everyone we have seen just puts them on their fridge with their own magnet. Dont spend the extra money to do the magnets – its not worth it!!

As far as invitations go – we used Etsy and I didnt thnik they were too expensive. We paid less than $400 for 135 custom made invitations and envelopes, including RSVP postage (we did a postcard) and invitation postage ($.61) We used littleladybugpress and she was AWESOME I cant say enough good things. My invitations are absolutely beautiful and so many people have complimented me on them!
