Maybe an underbustle?  This is definitely not the right bustle for this dress.

If nothing else, they should bustle it to the waist.

I have to be honest I am not a fan of it either.  I think it really takes away from the softess of the tulle.  I also think the buttons would be pretty noticeable when unbuselled.  I have to keep tell myself that for a significant amount of time people will be looking at your back… thats why I am doing so many back excersises 😉  It is great you have a lot of time to get it made perfect for you! Good Luck.  The dress is super pretty!!

I would have her change it to an under bustle.

I don’t like it. It looks incomplete or something.

Eek! I dont like the buttons on the tulle. I think an underbustle or maybe something else.. do they make something clear? I don’t know.. it just looks like its pulling on the dress and it’s too pleated for such a beautifuly flowy dress.

I found this – I think bringing it all the way up to the waist at one point is a good idea.

That looks terrible, what is that! Go with an underbustle. Better yet look at Mrs Nachos bustle, she even as a step by step guide you can give to your alteration lady.

@scadadle15:  I’m having a tulle skirt as well (Wtoo Olivia) and I think that single-point bustle is what I am going to ask for 🙂
