There’s nothing like having your seamstress do a few for you while you’re wearing the actual dress.  So, do your research and get a few ideas in your head, but keep an open mind when you go get fitted.

I’m actually having a completely different bustle done.  My seamstress called it an Italian Bustle.  My train is pretty small, and she’s going to pin in up underneath so that my train looks completely smooth, as if there was no train at all!  I love it — it looks so modern and elegant!

Sandpapertongue – do you have a picture of what your bustle looks like, it sounds like what I may be looking for, but I am having a hard time visualizing it?  Thanks In Advance

SandpaperTongue – yes, please do you have photos of your bustle? that definitely sounds like what i’m looking for.  Also, can I ask where you are located?  If you are in my area, i’d love to get any sort of seamstress recommendations.  thanks!

I don’t have a picture, but I go in for my 2nd fitting on the 28th, so I’ll get some then and post it for you guys.

Oh and I’m in the DC area.
