Rather than a bustle, couldn’t you somehow attach the train to your wrist and dance with it? Is it very heavy? Beautiful dress btw, I think it will be fabulous.

IDK what I’d plan on doing if I was going to wear that.  It is very lovely though, nice choice!  Maybe ask your seamstress.  Or maybe wear a reception dress?

Maybe the underneath of the train can be attached up in the small of your back once or twice into larger loops that lay flat? That would pull the length up to something manageable.
