I’m in love with lace dresses, specifically natosha from maggie sottero, but all lace dresses have a special place in my heart 🙂 I was wondering how they look with the back bustled up? i tried to search for pictures of different bustle types but they are usually on non-lace dresses. Please post your pics of lace dresses with the back bustled up.

Here’s my bustle. My dress was an alencon lace Romona Keveza.

The first ones are on the hanger, but they give you an idea of how it drapes, and then I have a couple of “action shots.”

I do! I did a one point over bustle (actually it was two really close for sturdiness).

I don’t have a pic, but for my lace dress I got the seamstress to make it bustle underneath,in the same way you might roll your pant leg underneath if your pants are too long. I don’t know if that makes sense. I just think sometimes when dresses are bustled on the outside it looks like you are shitting out a bunch of fabric. I know it sounds kind of silly…just my preference.

@winterbride1593: All Casablancas come with an underbustle what you are decribing. Mine looked really funny with my lace gown, it protruded out too much and wouldn’t lay flat and looked more weird than the shitting fabric. All bustles are silly looking to me however! I really wanted floor length!
