chocolatechipmint:  The only way I found that I lost weight in my bust was actually losing weight all over the place 🙁  I dropped from a C to a B when I lost 10 lbs.  But that also meant I lost my hips and my butt and kind of looked like a stick.

I’m about 10-15 lbs lighter than I was when I got married and my boobs are at least the same size.

kaylee26:  I’m completely the opposite!  If I lose weight my boobs are the first place it goes from and if I put weight on, the last place it goes on, dammit!

There really is no way to spot reduce fat from any area of the body. Meaning you just need to keep dieting and excersing to see any effect.

I have known women that have lost weight and their bust has decreased, but there are other women that loose weight and their breasts stay pretty much the same size. That’s because everyone’s breasts are composed differently, if you have denser breasts there may be made up of less fatty tissue and less likely get smaller when you loose weight. If your breasts are made up of more fatty tissue you are more likely to see a change in size when you loose weight.

Some girls just tend to carry weight in their breasts.  I’m pretty muscular and I have size D breasts.  When I was my smallest in highschool as a teenager running 6 days a week I had C/D’s.  Some of us are just more well endowed!

All you can really do is lose weight if you want to try, but honestly, it might just be like my case in that it’s where you will always stay a bit fluffier 😉

If it’s really interfering with your quality of life, I would consider a reduction.

There’s really no magic solution.

chocolatechipmint:  I’m the same way. My boobs are the LAST place I lose weight and I could really stand to lose some there. It’s just how different bodies react, unfortunately

I lost ~20ish pounds a few years ago and I found that my boobs were the last body part that got smaller. Even at my smallest weight I am still a D, but they fit my body and I don’t find them as obnoxious.

The only thing that ever really reduced my boobs was stopping my hormonal birth control. Sorry!

chocolatechipmint:  Similar situation here, so I feel your pain!  For my wedding I was just working to lose weight and found that it was coming off in my bust a lot more than everywhere else…stil left plenty left over lol but they did shrink a tad.  For diet, avoid soy and other hormonal foods- (non organic chicken and other meats are a big source of hormones)…that should help. And read labels because soy is in everything!  For exercise, dont use weights for upper body workouts.  If your pectoral muscles bulk up underneath breast tissue, they can appear to be even bigger.  Stick to higher cardio, and use resistance bands instead of weights.  Or much smaller weights for more reps.   Pilates is also a great toning workout that elongates muscles and helps you tone without adding bulk.  Hot yoga is another great toning workout without using extra weight.

like PPs have said, what influences boob size is very different. mine have always been the same no matter what weight I have been (although I’ve never been more than 20 pounds heavier than my ideal). even birth control does not change them. in my case, that’s a good thing though.

sorry!

Has anyone who has given up soy seem a change?
