I am a 34DD and I am not wearing anything on top! My seamstress is putting push up cups in the dress to hold the girls in!!

I’m a 34DD/DDD and I’d like to be wearing a strapless push up corset. If that doesn’t work out, I’ll probably have the seamstress put cuts in the dress, as I can’t go without anything–I’d feel really weird! Anyone have any good suggestions for a long-line bra??

I second (or third) the Nordstroms suggestion!  They are fantastic and they carry lots of “harder to find” sizes.

I have cups sewn in my dress and that works for me.  The longline bra didn’t go down low enough in the back, so having cups sewn in was the most logical option.  I just had my bridal portraits done and it worked great!

My wife also used a Le Mystere long-line bra, and loved it.  It kept everything in place, but was still comfortable.

My wedding dress was actually the catalyst for a life-changing bra-fitting experience! I was sized as a 32G and I am going to be wearing a Freya strapless bra under my gown. I had never had a comfortable strapless in my life until this one, so don’t give up hope, keep looking, the right bra is out there!  🙂

Making sure that you are wearing the correct size (which isn’t necessarily the same in every manufacturer’s bras) is the most important thing, then you need to find a brand that works with your body. For example, my friends love Chantelle bras, and they are super-high-quality, but my they just don’t work well with my breast shape.

I was able to go into a shop and try on a variety of bras in my size, but if that isn’t an option, order a few different kinds in a few different sizes from a site like figleaves.com then return the ones that don’t work. You may have to be open to new letters of the alphabet (I was in G-denial) and you’ll probably have to put in a lot more effort to find something fabulous than your 34Buddies, but it’s out there and once you find it you can be comfortable and look fabulous!

I’m wearing nothing and I’m a 36J. It looks a lot better without a bra. I spent $75 on a bra only to find it did not fit right with the dress. Try your dress and then go shopping. My alterations took care of it all and i’m not worried of it falling or slippage. It’s great.

I would sure go for onlne bra buyign if I could find a decent bra that fits and not the custom european kind that cost $75 just for an every day bra.

I would also like to add to the question.  I’m a 34DD.  I bought a sample dress that is a little small.  It can be let out and I am working on losing some weight.  The girls need some support, but I don’t want anything that adds too much more bulk.  Can anyone recoomend a long-line/strapless/whatever that didn’t add inches?  If you used/are using cups–do they give enough support?
