Personally I think the ones wihtout stones (like the Doug Designs) are better option. Some of the chuny stone ones read more costume jewlery or “old lady” than gender nuetral. I wouldn’t worry about needing a dimaond to propose, the whole notion is a recent phenemonen orcehstrated by De Beers to make profiits. Something like this is nice:

We went with this birch wood textured band.  It went well with my rose ring.

avlwedding:  LOVE your rings! The design of each one is very striking and elegant. And I really like how they match but are each still individual, too. (Hope that makes sense — lol.) The stones in each one are beautiful. Are they emeralds? (Apologies if I am being too nosy or forward in asking.)

Even though this is an older thread … and I don’t know if people are looking more for rings with stones or without … I thought I would post a picture of my original wedding band. It has no stones and is a thicker band. I’ve been told it’s masculine. I don’t wear it all the time any more, since I have a new set (15th anniversary present), but I’ve always loved the design of it. Even though I got a lot of negative comments about it IRL at the time.

Are you only interested in vintage?  How about a tension setting?  They generally are more substantial in order to secure the stone, yet still feminine.

longtimemrs:   Thank youu!  My rose is emerald, the birch band is actually green tsavorite. We could have ordered the band in emerald but didn’t have time to wait for the special order.  You can’t tell they are different.   We just wanted something unique, they fit our style very well
