I had my heart set on butler passed hors devours such as mini crab cakes and stuffed mushroom caps. I really like the elegance of this option vs. just having a bowl of snack mix but let me know if you think it’s really worth it/memorable for guests.

We are having tray passed hor d’oeuvres at our cocktail hour and I think they are definitely worth the cost. It is a nice touch. We had the display options for appetizers but opted for the tray passed only because people are likely to only take one piece rather than multiple pieces if it was just a standing display.

A butler? Lol, sorry that word makes me think of “Jeeves, bring the car around” or “Higgins will show you to the parlor now.”
Anyway, I like the idea! We had waiters passing around trays of yummy food at my daughter’s christening and it was a really nice touch.

We’re doing it… that will probably help with the traffic flow too so everyones not crowded near the food.
