I prefer buttons, but I fell in love with a dress that has a corset back. I figured it didn’t reaaaally matter either way in the end because my hair is down to my butt and I will have most of it down on the wedding day, so it would be covering the corset.

@jennmariee:  first of all: congratulations!!! You’re a mrs now, yay 🙂

and thanks so much for thinking of me! That’s so sweet. It definitely helps and it’s a great idea to combine the two. Too bad though about it still not fitting completely – I also plan on losing quite an amount of weight still so I thought a corset back would be quite a safe option. Apparently not then *sigh …

In my brutally honest opinon I think corset back dresses *can* look tacky. That being said, I have seen dresses that look nice with it. I MUCH prefer buttons (I have neither, it’s a zipper… I wish it had buttons though!)

I answered “other.” I like the look of buttons more, but for practical reasons I’m 1000x happy I chose a corset. It really takes the pressure of “will it zip and look perfect” off of the day!
