USPS Stamps are going up in price from $0.47 to $0.49 on January 22, 2017
Make sure you buy stamps for your save-the-dates, invitations, rsvp envelopes and thank you cards while you can! It’s only a $0.02 difference but if you can or need to save a little, do it while you can!

I went to the post office but they didn’t have the Forever stamps in the Botanical Art collection (which are what we’ve used for STDs and thank yous, and we like them the best anyway).
I am sat at home trying to figure out how many we should get and it looks like we should maybe get 280 (AHHHH!!!!)
77 stamp invitations + stamp for RSVP envelope
50 stamps for bridal shower thank yous (Planning on inviting rougly 45 people, may have some less of course)
77 stamps for wedding thank yous
I realize we may not have the full 77 separate invites (these are couples/individuals), but I also wanted to plan for extra stamps because we may screw up envelopes (plan on sticking stamp on AFTER this time, but hey you never know), for those invites that get lost in the mail, for extra gifts given during engagement, and then extras to have in the random times we send mail.
Does this sound right…?

You can buy any type of stamp on USPS.com and shipping is like $1-$2 in my experience vs trying to wait at Post Office. I bought a bunch of the red/white heart Love ones.
You’re probably overshooting if you’re counting 77 GUESTS (vs couples) three times – invite, RSVP, and Thank You. You can use an extra for Christmas?

I went to go buy a bunch but realized that my invites might need additional postage due to weight so I am going to bring a sample in to see. Thanks for giving the date though- they couldn’t tell me exacts!
