1-This is your first post.

2-WHERE are you?

3-Pics of the dress? Pics during alterations?

4-Says your wedding was October 2011. Why are you waiting so long to “buyer beware” ladies? Shouldn’t you have done this immediately? And, I’m no wedding gown diva, but who waits til the DAY OF their wedding, to try on their dress after final alterations? What if it had been 3 inches short on the hem, baby blue, and a size too small than the 9+ pounds they say you needed to lose??!!

Small claims, honey. Small claims. Seriously. If you’re in a US territory, SUE THEM.

@peachbaby4008:  Ok, so someone had the same mentality I did LOL.

I just find it weird OP, that especially now you say it was a Destination Wedding, that you were going to a place where it was MAJORLY possible(and now, obvious), that last minute alterations weren’t going to be an option. Seriously, busy or not, NO ONE I know, would wait til the day of their wedding to put a dress on. I’m not being mean here, but at the same time, I don’t think 25% of this board would do that, ESPECIALLY considering the issues you were ALREADY having with this person/place. I’d have been suspicious and cynical from the get go.

Also, unless you had a removable train, I’m SOOOO lost, how you ended up with an ivory train, on a white gown? If they ripped it, hell, they could have just finished botching it, and just sewing it up where it was torn, like, overlap it or some such. There’s a REASON they didn’t want you to look at it. Why didn’t you just open it when you got to the car, or told them to hold the FK up, you wanna see this priceless memory??

Have you heard? Someone sued David Tutera for making a bride unhappy at her wedding. I do not know all the particulars but, if he can get sued you could probably get a lawyer and sue the woman!
