I bought a dress several months ago and genuinely liked the dress. Mind you I wasn’t head over heels, but the details and price were decent. I since then have had serious buyer’s remorse and wish i would have looked around longer. I found a used dress online that I absolutely adore and have contacted the seller. IS this terrible? Did any of you have this problem?

No it’s not terrible, you need to be happyand in love with your choice. From other posts on here other brides have had remorse so have ended up buying another dress. You’ve got to be happy.

@LalaV: I could have written your post! I bought a dress that I really liked on the spot and then had immediate buyers remorse that night. It’s a beautiful dress, but it just didn’t make me feel the way I always imagined that I would feel in my wedding gown. I ended up selling the first dress and buying my dream dress used. Price-wise, it was almost an even trade. I don’t regret buying a second dress for one second because I feel SO much better! Selling the first dress took a huge weight off my shoulders too. I would suggest at least trying on the second dress in a salon – you don’t want to buy it unless you’re 100% sure.

THANKS so much! I have felt so much better just even admitting it out loud 🙂 I have been searching used wedding sites and trying on other dresses so I know I am making the right choice choosing another!
