My boyfriend and I have settled on a beautiful Tacori setting. We’ve “visited” it at the store several times now, and no other solitaire compares. I’ve definitely found the one!
I’m now trying to decide whether I want white gold or rose gold. We were supposed to order the ring tonight, but it when I saw how yellow Tacori’s 18k rose gold looks (on a wedding band), I decided I need some more time to think.
WELL! We came home, and I randomly started googling my setting, and found it on EBAY! For $1000 cheaper! It’ll probably only end up ~$700 cheaper once USD–> CDN exchange rate and duty is factored in, and it just seems wild to buy such an important purchase on Ebay. The ring is brand new, and being sold by a jeweler with a brick & mortar store in California. It’s in 18k white gold, and fits a 6.5mm stone (and I think I want a 1.25/7mm stone).
It’s basically the same ring I tried on at our local Tacori dealer, and I absolutely love it. I’m apprehensive and would love to hear about any experiences Bees have had purchasing Tacori or any other pricy setting off of Ebay.
