Are you looking to buy a store sample? I don’t know if you can order a dress at the end of a season and hope to get a discount but I do know stores often sell off their samples at a sizable discount. I bought a $1200 dress for $250 at the begining of this year. I happened to like and fit one of the dresses off the rack. It was the begining of the year and the bridal salon had 2 racks of sample dresses that I assume were from previous year(s) all at significant savings. Most were between the sizes of 6 and 12, specifically bridal 10 and prices ranged from $150 to $350 so all were cheap IMO. I don’t really know what season my dress came from as the manufacturer’s website didn’t have it but they only had pictures from the current and upcoming season so I am sure it was at least one season old when I bought it but it’s a classic style and does not look dated. None of the dresses looked to be older than one or 2 seasons and I’m sure they don’t kwwp them in the shop any longer than that anyway. It is common for stores to have sample sales or to even sell the sample at a discount if you ask but I don’t think you can order from pastt seasons if you are lookin for a different size.

The store i bought my dress from has a big sale every October to clean out old inventory. They do a 25% and 50% sale. It’s HUGE. Call around and maybe a store near you is having one of those? I found my store at a bridal fair or whatever they are.

The one I bought is 3 years old, but it’s still a “current” dress for the designer. It has diminished in price but not that substantially. I think it depends mainly on the gown.
