Buying a wedding dress is a wonderful experience, however it can be very time consuming. I found a few dresses I adored, but there was this one dress that I absolutely loved. I found the dress in a small boutique in Haddonfield, NJ. At the time the dress was too much money for me at the time, $1200. After sometime went buy I started shopping again for dresses again. Since this dress left a deep impression on my heart. I called the boutique again to see if they had the dress. They had the dress at a discounted rate of 966, during a truck show. I was so excited and called all my BM’s to come to the fitting. Something in my heart said call other bridal stores in the area. I called 11 shops and the 11th store; Cove Bridal’s said had the dress for $875. I was so surprised and happy. End of story I purchased the dress for 875 from 1200. It pays to be patient and resourceful.

GREAT story!! I posted about it here before, but I feel in LUST with Sottero and Midgley’s “Adorae” but couldn’t fall in LOVE with it bc of the $1200 price tag. Fiance is paying for the entire wedding on his own (no parents, no grandparents, not even ME. Just FI). And although he said to get it if it’s the ONE, I just couldn’t bring myself to have him pay that much. Like I said, I blogged about it and another bride suggested a designer that she felt had a similar style. Welllllll, SIMILAR ended up being the EXACT SAME!!! And for only $689 instead of $1200!!!!! I am THRILLED (and so is FI) and I cannot WAIT to wear her!!!
