i think david’s bridal and alfred angelo are having some sales, maybe you should check that out instead? if you get a dress online, it’s going to be so hard for you to get something guaranteed to look good on you. that being said, i hear good things about jeff liu on ebay or you can try some of the pre-owned sites – they have deals in every size. chin up though and don’t feel defeated! you have plenty of time so take a deep breath and try to find something that will fit your new figure.

I bought my Maggie Sottero brand new on Ebay (tags still attached) – came in a beautiful storage box.  My dress was from a bride who had to cancel her wedding – she wasn’t a bridal store.  My dress is a little snug on the top and that’s my only regret (not getting to try it on ahead of time).  If you go with Ebay, I would search for listings that aren’t necessarily bridal stores and most importantly, CHECK OUT THEIR FEEDBACK (anything less than 99.9%, I wouldn’t buy from).  Send emails and ask questions.

I went through the dressmaker at the ebay store “Aprils Bridal” for my dress, and I know several other bees have too!

He does great work and I was VERY pleased with my dress, and all in all the dress took about a month and a half and I had it in my hands.

You can PM me if you want specfic details 🙂
