Some things you dont need a gender to purchase. Diapers, receiving blankets, stroller, high chair, etc.

I’d buy a little here and there throughout the pregnancy, starting after 12 weeks.

I started buying things in March (due in June). I really hope the gender was correct eep… just in case I kept tags on a fair amount of stuff.

Probably won’t buy much until post-shower (after 30 weeks). It’s not really superstition or gender; it’s because I want to see what might be gifted by friends before I go out and get it. I’ve also got A LOT of friends with young children who are eager to let me borrow their baby stuff and I’m happy to oblige, so I’m also slowly accruing things that have staid off purchases (got a boppy, a bouncy chair, some bottle warmers, etc.). We’re also team green, so the gender doesn’t matter much to the nursery scheme and all that, but if it matters to YOU, you’ll have to wait until at least around 20 weeks 🙂
