    try to find reviews on the company first… i don’t know how many dresses my BMs found online that looked great but then went to try them on in the store and they were hideeeeeeeeeeeous

    You should find information about that company and ideas from previous customers. Don’t believe too much in online photographs!

    I’m considering buying the bridesmaid dresses online because the prices are cheaper. It may be a risk, but unlike a wedding gown, if there’s an emergency with the dress, it’s easier to find an off the rack dress. I’m only having 2 bridesmaids & 2 junior bridesmaids, so maybe that’s less of an issue than if you had a big party.

    we are doing it online – i picked a designer that you can go in a bridal store and try on if you wanted to see what it fit like, and then placed the order with perfectbridal.com

    they were 4 dollars cheaper than netbride.com

    both are rated and authorized dealers so we arent worried – if you want i can tell you how they work out when they come in at the end of next month 🙂

    Just check their return policy in case they are not what you expect.  If they are returnable, then go for it and see what happens.
