Mrs. Unicycle did a whole post on this. You might get some ideas there.

I’m in the same boat, I think I’m gonna go with ohnuts.com!

I researched and researched online bulk candy stores (I even created spreadsheets with pricing for individual items), and we ultimately decided that ohnuts was the best pricewise.  Plus, we looked at shipping costs and since ohnuts is on the east coast (as am I), it was cheaper than anywhere else in terms of quick shipping so our chocolate wouldn’t melt!  If you live on the west coast, I think the CA company is bulkcandywarehouse.  Their prices were a little steeper, but you’d save on shipping.

If you have an A.C. Moore store near you, they often have 40% coupons online (you can literally go to the store with a new coupon every day) and they have M&Ms sold by color, gumballs sold by color, chocolate and vanilla wafer mints and sixlets sold by color.  We needed white M&Ms (which sell out quickly), so they let me call every week after the truck arrived and they would check for me until I was able to get all that I needed!
