We got my engagement ring on Etsy.

She had all positive reviews, so we made sure to read through those and see what was said. She had also been in business on Etsy for more than a year. She also ran a blog about her work. She posted real photos of her jewelry – not just digitalized designs. I was also very impressed with her responses to all my questions – she was quick and professional. So overall, I had good vibes from her and knew she was legit, and if she did not end up being truthful I could always file a claim, but I didn’t worry about that.

Aside from that, she had a reasonable return policy, so I knew if we got the ring and we hated it or something was wrong that we could return it to get something changed or receive a refund.

It’s a good idea to try similar jewelry on in store though. I tried on a lot of rings to get an idea of what I liked before I purchased from Etsy.

I bought my wedding necklace on Etsy and I was very pleased with my purchace. I agree with weddingbound, check feedback and return policy. I made sure I could return it if it wasn’t exactly what I wanted.

I haven’t gotten to physically handle it yet (I’ll let you know in a couple of weeks! ;D ), but he had 100% positive feedback!

I purchased all of my bridesmaids’ earrings and bracelets and my flower girl’s jewelry from two different Etsy sellers. They were perfect transactions – no regrets here! Just make sure that the sellers you’re considering have lots of positive feedback.

I buy and sell on Etsy. I definitely would check their feedback and return policies. I’ve had only one problem with a jewelry purchase, but I was able to return it and the seller was very accomodating.  You may not get return shipping back if you do end up with a return on your hands, just to let you know, but read the policies for sure.
