@katherin788:  Just take it one day at a time.  My best friend got married 5 years ago and they bought their house a month before their wedding AND she was taking her state boards for her RN license 2 weeks.   TWO WEEKS!!! before the wedding.  She was stressed as hell, but once everything is said and done it will feel great!

And congrats on the house and pre-grats on getting engaged!!

@katherin788:  I bought a house about 2 months after we got married. It is super scary and exciting! 2 of my coworkers are in the same boat (and one had twins as well to add to the mix). Seeing that you have already made the agreement to buy a house without a ring, I would recommend setting up an agreement about the house. Have a witness sign it. Have it cover: Who will cover the expenses while you don’t live there? When will you move in?

Then I recommend enjoying the craziness and to hold of buying anything. Register for it instead. People want to buy you gifts and you might as well get what you want.

Finally, go slow. There are about a billion projects to do, so pick on one to work on, then the others. Don’t foreget to have date nights and to spend time with each other.
