Has anyone else purchased their wedding ring(s) at the same time as their engagement ring? There’s an offer at Blue Nile right now to save 15% when you do this and I’m wondering if I should just go ahea. 15% on up to 2 wedding rings when you buy your engagement ring online.
Thoughts? More info here:

It’s jumping the gun a little bit, but it could save money if everything worked out. For that deal to work maximally, the proposee would probably be already involved in the e-ring picking, or the proposer would buy the whole kit and caboodle and hope for the best.
We looked at wedding bands together after he proposed. It was a fun experience, and I enjoyed letting Darling Husband pick my e-ring and getting to pick my own wedding band.

kristenbees: We bought my wedding band at the same time as my engagement ring, because I needed a wedding band with a particular curve to match the shape of my engagement ring. It was easy to get it all done at once, and I already knew what I wanted after trying it all on together. It’s been nice because I needed to get my ering resized once after getting it, and was able to try it on with the wedding band to see how that impacted fit.
In short: yep, bought them together. No problem with doing it early based on my experience 🙂
