I hate this! Why do we have to lose weight in the only place it looks good first? I always lose my boobs first, too.

I wish I was losing my boobs! haha. I was working out like a crazy woman for a few months and then I had my wisdom teeth out a few weeks ago so I didn’t go to the gym for a week… and I haven’t been back since… Now i’m spilling out of my bras! I already look weird with big boobs. I’m only 5’1” and i’m pretty petite so people are constantly asking me if they’re fake b/c I guess they don’t look natural? 🙁 I normally wear a 32D and I’m practically shoving them into that right now. boo.

Sorry about my boob rant. I agree with you. I totally wish I would lose weight in my tummy and other problem areas first, but it’s always the boobs that say goodbye first.

I feel your pain. To add insult to injury, I’m also the rare breed of woman who gets bigger with weight lifting. Which means that as my boobs shrink, my arms and legs grow. Awesome. Because male body builder was totally the look I was going for on my wedding day.

Haha I know what you mean!  But remember that once you get pregnant, your boobs will start to grow again.

I’m with Bella, I wish I was losing my boobs! Ugh, my tummy is definitely rounder than it used to be, but even when I was in good shape my boobs were too big for my body. When I lose weight they slowly dwindle. I am on a diet and have lost about 6 pounds so far and my Fiance says, “Your face looks slimmer!” lol, 6 lbs…my face?!

I’m not looking forward to losing in this area as I try to shape up a bit for the wedding!

This happens to me too! I hate it because I’m a 34A , so when I lose weight, my boobs become nonexistent, and it just looks like I’m smuggling tic-tacs around.  I’m also pear-shaped, so while I’m a small on top, I’m a 8-10 on bottom.  Losing weight on top first just make me even more disproportioned!

Hang in there ladies! It has happened to me when I lost some weight… Boobs go first, but the rest DOES come, I promise! It takes a while and lots of training, but way more comfortable with the small boobs with the small waist and firm butt than the package that came with the big boobs….

This morning I was lying with Fiance in bed .. resting.. and he said “You know I can tell you’ve lost some weight cause your boobs are much smaller now.”  Thanks honey.

Totally reminded me of this post.

I’m with you bella13… When I was going to the gym on a regular basis and working out I seemed to be losing in my butt, stomach, and arms, but not in my boobs–infact they seemed to get bigger–and trust me I dont’ need any help in that area.. already worried how it’s going to look on wedding day in a white dress..UGH..

“Boob loss is a terrible affliction, affecting several women across the continent..”

This is why I’ve been putting off getting into a serious work out schedule, 32A is a hard enough look to pull off to begin with, any flatter and I’ll look like a little boy!

I’d rather have them stay one size and stop messing around! One of my bras actually fell off the other day just from losing weight over a cold.

@bostonbee: “smuggling tic tacs” is hilarious. made my day!

@ redherring, okqueenbee – weight lifting bulks me too, rather than helping to “thin” problem areas.  supposedly lifting lighter weight at more reps tones rather than bulks, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference for me.  i’ve lost a bit of weight by weight lifting, my thighs actually got bigger in the process … lame
