I am from central MA but I am getting married on the North Shore. What type of vendors are you looking for lots of my friends are getting married or did get married in this area so I can see what they suggest.

Hi! I’m not a bride, but I am a central Massachusetts bridesmaid in a couple of weddings coming up pretty soon. I’ve been around for pretty much all of the planning and have friends who can make suggestions!

@MissMedic:

I am unhelpful, unfortunately, because I’m getting married at my mom and stepdad’s house and an old family friend who lives in TX will be the photographer.  Before we decided to do it at home, we were thinking of Tower Hill Botanical Garden.  It’s BEAUTIFUL, but also pricey.

But I can tell you about my two local vendors – Pepper’s Catering and Bloomers Florist. I haven’t had my wedding yet, obv, so I can’t tell you how their work turned out. But Pepper’s just won two wedding catering awards from the knot and wedding wire (I actually just posted about that), which gives me some confidence in their work.

Ken at Bloomers has been totally lovely so far.  I went in with no clue what I wanted, and he was able to suggest some ideas that were PERFECT.  Moreover, he didn’t push me to include more expensive elements that I was thinking of but didn’t really need or want.  I feel like he was respectful of our need to keep things affordable while still wanting things to be beautiful.

@MissMedic: We’re looking at the Codman Estate in Lincoln. I love Mechanic’s Hall but Im sure it’s pricey
