So it looks like we’ve decided and we’re going to Cabo! This is super exciting for us because we live in Australia and it’s a big trip. We’ve been to the USA a bunch of times and have always wanted to trek down to Mexico, but we’ve never had the time or money.
So now it’s happening! We’re going to be staying at the Capella Pedregal and I was wondering if anyone else has stayed here and if so, what did they think?
Also, can anyone recommend things we should do or should avoid doing while we’re there? We plan to go for 7 nights.
Yay! Can’t wait!!!

I can’t speak to that resort, but one thing I wish I had known before going to Cabo is that it can actually get quite chilly at night! Make sure you bring warm enough clothes for the evening or you will not enjoy yourself fully! I would highly recommend taking a boat tour of the arches.

Cabo’s great! We were just there a couple of weeks ago and loved it! Capella Pedregal is a gorgeous resort. Do dinner at the restaurant that’s built into the side of the cliff (blanking on restaurant name at the moment) & enjoy some incredible sunset views. It’s also only about 5-10 minutes outside of San Lucas, which is a very pedestrian-friendly kind of town with tons of shops, restaurants, & nightlife. That’s also where the marina is located, so taking the boat trip to the Arches is very easy.
As another poster said, be sure to bring clothes for the chilly evenings or else you’ll end up running around in an overpriced “Los Cabos” sweatshirt you desperately purchased from a hotel gift shop. (I’m speaking from personal experience! 😉
