Cabo’s "rainy season" ends in the middle of October.  Even so, Cabo only has about 6-10 days of rain ALL year!  So even though it’s the rainy season, there really isn’t much rain.  It might rain for 15 mins and then back to sun again.  Cabo is a great honeymoon choice – we’re getting married there in Oct 09!

Just make sure you get some kind of insurance (for plane tix, hotel…). Its VERY risky, and even if you "miss" the storm, it could leave alot of damage in the area, including where you might be staying. We were planning a trip to go last month, but the hotel next door was practically knocked down & we didn’t want to have to hear all the construction.

On the plus side, prices tend to be cheaper because of it 🙂

I went to Cabo in September for a Bach party. It was HOT!! It is actually no longer tourist saeson, so we got a good fare on it from United. It was $400 non-stop at the time. It was also kinda bare, but we still had a good time. We went ziplining and planned some beach excursions – kayaking and banana boating!

We went to Cabo last March and it was amazing.  The weather was perfect, hot but not overly hot.  Cabo is gorgeous and we had such an amazing time, I want to go back soon!

Hey, maybe we’ll see you there. We’re also planning our honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas during the 2nd week of October (and a little before and after). From everything we’ve read and seen, I think it’ll be wonderful! Just to be safe, we are getting trip insurance, but that’s not thaaat pricey, and I think definitely worth it *just in case*.

We haven’t booked yet, but we’re most likely going to stay at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. It’s got most everything we’re looking for, and what it doesn’t have, we can ride a free shuttle to its 3 sister resorts to get. We initially planned to do an all-inclusive, but in reading reviews and comparison shopping, we decided against it after all.
