We’re also going to Cabo on our honeymoon.  We’re staying at the One and Only Palmilla. I’d also love to hear other bee’s advice/recommendations!

I just got engaged in Cabo at the end of June!!!  We went downtown quite often 🙂  You must go to Maro’s Shrimp House (awesome shrimp and lobster…great Bulldog drink!) and Lorenzillo’s Lobster House (excellent food all around…best crab cakes ever!!!).  Sorry I can’t provide good mexican restaurants…we never went to one.  We went to a few bars too…El Squid Roe, Mandala, and Cabo Wabo Cantina (don’t eat there…waste of money).  Hope this helps! 🙂

There are two places that are musts! Edith’s for a nice dinner and The Office for their shrimp tacos, good for a lunch place! The Office is right on the water with the tables and chairs in the sand, it’s a neat place just to go. When I was there 2 years ago another couple and Fiance and I chartered a sail boat and it was the best thing we did the whole trip. We got to see the humpback whales and go snorkeling and the whole time the crew provided drinks and snacks. It was such a great day and I would for sure do it again next time I am in Cabo.

I’m going to sound like a snob here, but someone recommended The Office to us for dinner so we got all dressed up for a nice evening out and it was like spring break but with kids running around in a cramped small beach with a view of the water. It was really overpriced and like everywhere else in Cabo they totally water down their drinks. The decor was terrible and cheesy and they could barely keep the vendors out of the restaurant (the ones who troll the beach with blankets and jewelry for sale), they kept trying to get our attention the whole time. NOt a honeymoon spot in my opinion.

We went to Market at the One and Only Palmilla (Jean George restaurant) and it was one of the most fabulous dining experiences I’ve ever had. The One and Only was a little out of our price range to actually stay since we were paying for our entire honeymoon, but it is so magical and beautiful.

I’ve also been snorkleing, not on my honeymoon but when we were there a few years ago. It is awesome. I don’t recommend the fishing trips, parasailing or RVing on the beach as I’ve seen people get injured every time I go from doing these things.
