I didn’t drink soda or coffee during my pregnancys, so I voted for “none” but I don’t think you’re crazy 🙂
Before my pregnancy, I drank soda and I was also a light smoker, I quit both cold turkey and didn’t have any withdrawal symptoms or anything.
These days, if I don’t have caffeine throughout each day, I’m a tired, grumpy, walking headache!

I completely gave up coffee my first trimester, but had the occasional cup of weak tea or decaf coffee. That was until my morning sickness kicked in so bad I couldn’t handle anything with caffeine and the smell of coffee made me dry heave. Once I got out of the danger zone where miscarriage was a big concern, I started drinking about two cups of regular coffee a day. The research I’ve reviewed (I’m actually a researcher by profession so I totally nerded out reading tons of journal articles) says that coffee is really only a threat to normal pregnancies the first trimester. AFter that, it’s really just a problem if you have high blood pressure or something. My blood pressure is really good so I figure I’m safe now that I”m in my third trimester.

@macbookbee123: my doctor told me that 200mg of caffeine is absolutely fine. so, i drank coffee! of course! but now that I have issues with high blood pressure, I have had to cut it out.
