Yeah our buffet came with an assortment of cakes, bars and trifle type things.

We’re putting down an assortment of petit fours on our cake table that the guests can help themselves to during the dancing part of our reception. The cake will be the main plated dessert though.

Nope! We still had a lot of cake left over, too, so more dessert would have been a waste. We did give out Jelly Bellys as favors, though.

We are having a desert and then cake – I know it’s a bit pointless but our venue comes with a desert (Sticky date) and then we are having either fruit cake (which will keep) or Choc Mud (which will also keep a little while). I just really wanted a cake. I’m sure it’s a waste of money in my case and no one will eat it, but what can you do!

I’m having dessert creme bruele and crepe susette at our French Resturant then tea and coffee mint and port. tops of the 6 course meal.
