Maybe pint-sized Chinese takeout containers? They’re sold at lots of online retailers (sorry, I don’t have any suggestions!)

I’m doing cakeball favours.

We are tying them up in cellophane bags with ribbons. It was a much more economical choice when I have to make 250+

I am giving all my bridesmaid boxes of cake mix to bake and then they are coming over some saturday to assemble.

Yum. Every time I talk about making these i craaaave them! 🙂

Do you have a Dollar Tree near you?  I brought my favor boxes from their wedding section (we’re doing mini cupcakes, so it’s a similar size to cake balls) and they are so cute!  They are 6 for $1.  I don’t have any pictures right now, but they’re ivory boxes, about 2 – 2.5 inches tall.  They also have these on the Dollar Tree website, 12 for $1 if you don’t mind this kind of package:

If you think so, maybe I’m picturing larger cake balls than you’re making.. Standard Chinese food usually comes in quart or pint containers. Many sites also sell half-pint if you still think that would be too big. http://www.papermart.com/templates/81-0-05.htm
