I like cakes 1 and 3. Question: Will the bling and red roses be equally distributed throughout the reception or is one more visible than the other? Meaning, if you are using roses more than bling I would use cake #1, or if the bling overpowers the roses, I would use cake #3…just to give an equal balance. Or to make things easier, just have them add a few red roses to cake #1.

Cake three is the most romantic. If you need something more you can have the edible glitter applied to the layers.

I like all 3 actually. But 1st has bling on it and it is romantic bling.

I made wedding cakes for six years and am voting #2.  I think it’s classic and gorgeous.  #3 falls flat to me, and if the cascades aren’t made correctly, it can look very sloppy.  Maybe if you choose number 3 then you can add the black ribbon to the bottom of each tier to make it stand out a bit?

Or could I suggest something like this?

I think that the 3rd one is the most romantic, I really like the draping down the cake. Here’s a similar looking cake, if you wanted a little more bling on the 3rd one you could add a little embellishment around the cake (except maybe a thin chain of rhinestones instead) like this:

And I thought the rhinestones in the center of each rose (in pp’s post) was a nice, but not over the top, touch as well Smile
