@Britk:  Cupcakes are kind of Per person anyhow… but as far as the cake, I would just ask them for 2 small cutting cakes which can be as small as 4 servings, usually. They should be able to give you a flat rate for those.

You should probably just tell the baker, they will be able to tell you.  I am planning on around 80 people or so and I ordered a cake with 100 servings (not including the top layer).  If I did include the top layer it would be considered 110 servings.  So I am actually paying for 100 servings (even though I will also receive the top layer).

If you are ordering only cupcakes for the guests then I would plan at least 1 per person, or if you want to make sure there are enough in case some eat more than one then maybe 1.2-1.3 per person.  Cupcakes are usually charged per cupcake.

They SHOULD. If a big bakery won’t do it… always go with one of the smaller bakeries… They will jump at the chance!

We did a 6″ cutting cake for ourselves and cupcakes for our guests.  We had 60 guests and ordered 70 cupcakes.  We had 8 left over.

@Britk:  @lawbride88:  Thank you!!!  The stand was provided by my venue, so I’m not entirely sure.
