We did. We played L.O.V.E by Nat King Cole. I’m a detail whore though.

@Mrs. Bear Cheese Pie:  How clever – I love Cake! I really like their cover of “I Will Survive” but it’s probably not appropriate at a wedding. Maybe “He’s Going the Distance”.

I LOVE that idea!  Also something that i have never even thought of before, but I think it would be such a nice little detail to add to your day.  I might do it myself if Fiance agrees!

Our Dj actually asked us to pick one… or we wouldn’t of known to pick on… But we used Grow old with you… By Adam Sandler…the crowd loved it lol

@Petor2011:  I would love to use this song. I don’t think my band will know it 🙁

We’re doing Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith. I love the songs by Cake idea too!

We (meaning I) had a song planned out, but it was SO windy and hot on our wedding day that the cake had to be brought out last minute and cut as quickly as possible (to keep it from melting and getting leaves stuck in it!) so before we could even get the song on we were cutting it. lol  If it’s important to you great, but seriously, don’t sweat the small stuff, the dj played our song later as we were leaving  (I hadn’t picked out a last song or exit song) and it was just as good.

The song I picked was Man and Wife by Michelle Featherstone. 🙂
