We’re doing cake buffet style with several smaller cakes:

Chocolate cake with raspberry filling and mocha frosting

Carrot cake with spiced cream cheese frosting

Red Velvet cake with fudge filling and cream cheese frosting

Blueberry cake with lemon filling and vanilla frosting

Chocolate cake with peanut butter filling and chocolate frosting

I’m going sort of simple because I don’t want to end up with a ton of cake leftover – I actually want people to eat it!

We’re doing a marble cake with a lemon buttercream frosting – very delicious – got to sample it a few weeks ago!

We just ordered our cake this week– yay! We’re having two flavors and getting it from Piece of Cake. 

white cake with raspberry filling (FI’s choice… but i think it is super tasty too!)

chocolate cake with almond cream filling (my choice… the almond cream is INCREDIBLE)


both will have buttercream icing.

We just had our cake tasting last night! It’s gotta be one of the best parts during wedding planning!

Our Bottom layer: Red velvet with buttercream frosting

Middle layer Bananna cake with fudge filling

top layer marble chocolate and vanilla with fudge filling

They are all absolutely delicious! MMMMmmm…. Can’t wait!

We’re doing cupcakes in a bunch of flavors. Mint Cookies and Cream, peanut butter fudge, red velvet, vanilla with vanilla frosting, and chocolate with ganache on top.

This thread is making me hungry!

Our Cake is being made by Sunny at Filigree Cakes.  Take a look at her site she is just amazing.

Our cake will be a 4 tier cake.  Red Velvet & Cream Cheese Frosting is one flavor and the other flavor is Chocolate cake with White and Dark Chocolate Mousse!!!  I am so flippin excited for this cake!

We have a whole mess of cake.  We love cake.

2 layers of white chocolate cake with chocolate fudge filling

2 layers of devil’s food with vanilla buttercream filling

The wedding cake is by a bakery in my hometown called Incredibly Delicious, and it lives up to the name.

The groomscake is from Jilly’s Cupcake Bar in St Louis: 6 Boston Cream Pie cupcakes, 7 German Chocolate cupcakes, and 7 “Sweet & Salty” which are chocolate, peanut butter, salted caramel, and pretzels.

Our cake is four layers…

1st layer: Vanilla bean pound cake w/ butterfinger cream filling

2nd layer: Lemon Raspberry cake w/rasperry filling

3rd layer:  Dark Chocolate cake w/ Malibu Coconut cream filling

4th layer: Marble pound cake w/caramel swirled throughout
