Your tiers can be different flavors. We are having it like that FH loves chocolate and I am a strawberry shortcake nut.

Dulce de leche… mmm!

A not-too-sweet fruit flavor, like raspberry, might pair well with dulce de leche.  Are you looking to alternate fillings or to substitute something else entirely for the dulce?  The filling of this caramel cream cake looks pretty yummy!

Will you have a teired wedding cake? not everyone loves dulce de leche so it might be a good idea to have a tier with something more main stream…

I’m having a hard time thinking of something that would off set the sweetness, maybe ask your baker?

what we decided to do is a plain buttercream cake for the entire cake and then instead or a groomscake or a chocolate fountain, we’re having a variety of cupcakes for guests. I think Dulce de leche sounds marvelous, though!!! Alternating flavors is a good idea, too.
