Where did you local bee’s get your wedding cake? Everywhere I’m finding is starting charging $4.00 a slice for buttercream with a basic or no design…that’s too much! Any ideas for local, affordable cakes?

HELP!
were doing a cake to remember…..prices are reasonable and flavors are great!
hope that helps
We got our cake from Mixing Bowl across from Short Pump mall. We paid $430 for an awesome cake that served 150. It was delicious and beautiful. We brought in a picture of what we wanted it to look like and were very pleased with the final product. For the price, the taste, and the look of our cake, we were very pleased. Another good one is Baker’s Kitchen. Good luck 🙂
we went with Cakes by Graham..we actually had a discount we got as a prize from a bridal show in richmond. 🙂
We went with Baker’s Kitchen in Midlo. Very reasonable.
All of those places are AMAZING! What size is your wedding? Believe it or not, Ukrop’s bakery makes beautiful classic and DELICIOUS cakes!
Oohh I love all these places! We are using Katherine’s Confections. Locally owned in Midlo, Katherine is SUCH a doll, and she has AMAZING wedding flavors– I think we tried over 20 different kinds. We went many places, but she was awesome!
DO NOT GO TO MARTINS. They advertise that their cakes are really reasonably priced, but they taste gross and they don’t let you personalize your cake– you have to choose from their designs, blah!
I did hear that Bakers Kitchen and Cakes by Graham are also good ones!
