This was my first attempt at baking and decorating a cake two years ago, and since then I have definitely evolved!
I made these for Christmas to take to work. Made my own gingerbread and they fit on a cup!
This one was for a colleague’s birthday. It was kind of “I couldn’t be bothered to try something complicated but wanted it to look nice” kind
Again – one of my simpler ones, but I liked the way it looked 🙂
Sorry I put so many photos on! I just love baking 🙂 aaand to end the long series of pictures.. Here is something that required no baking but I made myself anyway 🙂 I love the dog in the background, haha

My Birthday Cake. It’s a Smores cake with graham cracker cake layers, whipped chocolate gnache filling, and a homemade marshmallow fluff outside
The pink and blue cakes were supposed to be smash cakes, and they were last minute, and I also ran out of the flour buttercream 🙂 People ended up slicing them instead. I wish I spent more time on them. They were just boxed vanilla cakes
Pretty proud fo this one, it’s a 3 tierd half-dressed cake. Top and bottom layers are French Vanilla with strawberry preserves and the middle tier is a dark chocolate with raspberry preserves and dark chocolate gnache layers. All are crumb coated in Swiss Merengue Buttercream and decorated with fresh fruit.

Ooooh so many pretty cakes! I’ve always wanted to get into cake decorating, but I’ve never actually given it a whirl. I’m more of a pie baker, but I do make some pretty looking(and even better tasting) pies, so I will share those!
Peach with a lattice top and braided crust
Caramel apple crumble with a twisted lattice top and (my frist attempt at) a braided crust
Blackberry (first attempt at lettering in a pie, for a benefit auction)
Valentine’s Day peach pie
Deep dish pecan pie with a cream cheese crust (baked in a spring form)
