What are you planning on doing for your cake? Whats it going to look like, flavor, fillings? Lets see it!
My FI’s cousin is a professional cake maker so were getting a great discount. We really like this quilted design on square cakes. Going to be about 4 teirs and I think were going to shift them off center so there not all lined up straight up and down like they are in the picture. We have 1 bigger bouquet of blue and white roses to put on top and 2 smaller ones for the side somewhere along with some petals to scatter around. We have a cake topper but its pretty tall so probably wont put that on top, maybe just off to the side on the table somewhere. Still have the ribbon around the sides but probably in black. For the flavor plannig on a white buttercream frosting, vanilla cake with strawberry filling.

This is my inspiration, I’m looking for no frills lol
Bottom layer a raspberry vanilla creme, middle is pistachio and the top probably a caramel vanilla bean. We’re just having a really small brides cake because we have large grooms cake and a full dessert bar as well!

Here was our cake! The bottom layer was chocolate with Bavarian cream filling and the top two layers were lemon with raspberry filling. There was buttercream frosting covered with a very thin layer of fondant (which was the best I’ve ever tasted!). The flowers were handmade out of gum paste. Our cake fed 100 people (we saved the top tier) and our baker set up the table and backdrop.

I’m no frills, too. Simple, clean cake decorated minimally with the same flowers used elsewhere in the wedding.
No idea what the flavor will be. Hoping for some input from the fella once we’re engaged.
