We’ve opted to not have a wedding cake because neither of us like cake, in fact we dislike it strongly. Instead of a cake we’ve chosen to do a dessert table with several desserts we love as well as have a food vendor called King of Pops that serves fancy popsicles come later in the evening.
So prior to officially wedding planning I fell in love with this cake topper. You can customize the entire look of the bride and groom AND you can have your pets custom made and I DIE at the thought of my two kitties being on our cat topper.
So problem is we’re not having a cake or really cupcakes. We are having cookies, key lime pie shots, pretzels dipped in caramel and chocolate, bread pudding, some popcorn stuff.
I need ideas for how we can use this cake topping.

I think you could insert it into any of your desserts that are large enough.
Or, you could frost a styrofoam disc ( or cover it in fabric or paper) place it on top of a cakestand and insert your topper. It would be the centerpiece for the table.

Put them on top/stick into the bread pudding. Or make a pie and put them on top of/into the pie. BAM done! Cute cake toppers!

@julies1949: That is exactly what I was going to suggest.
But I think the fake cake would work best because then all your guests could see it up close when they go to get their desserts.

If there was a fake frosted cake, wouldn’t people think they’d be getting cake? I thought about doing a three tier cookie tower and sticking it in the top.

@MsSparklyBee: I agree. We could also do a doughtnut cake and put it on top.
