Alright ladies… I need some help. I have been volunteered to bring a cake for someone’s birthday tomorrow and while I love to cook… I’m not much of a baker. (Measuring just takes too much effort!)
So do you have any good stand-by recipes to spruce up some cake mix? (Duncan Hines, Bette Crocker, etc)

There are lots of things you can do!
One thing I’ve done is used a white cake mix and in place of the oil used pureed fruit of some kind. Strawberries, blueberries, etc. It’s delish!
Another thing you could do is spruce up the frosting with chopped nuts or toasted coconut, or melted chocolate drizzled on top, or fresh fruit.

I don’t use mixes, but I can give you a killer frosting recipe!!!!!
