actually heres one idea we are using I wish we had a picture but all it is, is clear cube vases with a submersed flower in them, set in a square shape and a cake set on top of it

Cake stands that are too tall become increasingly unstable-that is why they are almost all the same height.

You could elevate your cake by stacking cake stands like this:

or,you could elevate the stands the same way that caterers do on buffets-place sturdy boxes on the table and drape fabric over the boxes. The cake stands then can be all the same height because it is the height of the box underneath that determines the height of the cake.

The taller ones are likely to be smaller, to avoid having the center of gravity so high that they tip over.  You might consider doing it the opposite way–having the main cake be the lowest, something like this:

elevate it with blocks of wood and then drape the table

Magenta–Hmmm, I smell a DIY.    How about a large floor-type candle stick with a platter hot glued on top?   Painted to match your decor?  You could find some pretty funky awesome ones I think…   I am thinking this means endless posibilities!
