I’m planning to DIY my own.  I am going to buy a vase or candle stick holder or unique glassware and then adhere a plate or platter to it.  Very simple.  I’m sure you could do something similar.

There are really beautiful vintage glass cake stands at all lot of the thrift stores in Houston, most cost under $10, so I’ve been collecting them.

Check out your local thrift stores or consignment stores!

I think it’s a brilliant idea! Where are you from? You can buy mine from me after inexpensively if you’d like. 🙂 

I’ve bought several and then made a few using the whole plate and candlestick thing. Sometimes I like the DIY ones better than the bought ones. As crazy as that sounds.
