Hi ladies! I need help picking a cake topper. I found a person on etsy who can make a mini likeness of me and my fiance but it would be about $130 and i don’t know if I want to spend that much on a cake topper. I also thought about getting a penguin bride and groom cake topper but I am not sure!
Please share your ideas, what you had as a topper and I would so appreciate pictures if you have them. I have been on googe, etsy, and pinterest and I am so overwhelmed. Please help!

@SparkleBaby: We looked at toppers too, seems like alot of cakes don’t have them. We are going with fresh flowers and succulents to match centerpeices.

@SparkleBaby: There is a shop on etsy who sells a sign that says “for like ever”- but it’s more like this:
for
like
ever (but there is no space in between the words)- I think it’s super adorable! I would be getting it if we were having a cake, so instead I am ordering one for our shelves or wall at home!!

We got ours from LovebirdGoods on Etsy – it was about $75. You can personalize the little figures for your looks, dress, flowers, etc.

We dont want to put any flowers on the cake because we aren’t really using flowers in any of our other decor. I would really like something we could keep and display in our home as a momento but I don’t want to spend a bunch of money for something to collect dust either since we will have pictures and such. I am going to look at weddingstar I haven’t heard of that one before.

@SparkleBaby: Do you have any theme or color scheme for your wedding?
Alternatively, do the two of you have any interests, hobbies or professions that you want to include?
Do you have a picture of the two of you that you could have made into a custom cake topper?

PS- we have it on our fireplace mantel. Also, every year for our anniversary, I buy a cake and put it on top.
