So at first my Fiance and I wanted custom made bobble head cake toppers then I seen these cake topper bobble head frames and I love them. (Pic below) Not to mention these are 90% cheaper then making custom ones. However, we are black and I can’t find it in black. I looked everywhere but the company told me I can paint them in black. I never done this before and don’t know how it would look in the end. Besides, if I was able to paint the ones I like, look at the hair on him. My fiancee has a bald head which is fine since we are putting a picture in it but do you think the guy hair on the one I like would look funny even if I paint it black because the texture of our hair is totally different.
However, I found this wedding bobble head cake topper frame in black but the dress looks like its from the 80’s (pic below). I would still have to paint the floowers and the grooms button but those are far easier then painting the skin and hair.
So it’s a no win situation. Either my Fiance hair will be a up do for men or my dress would be from the 80’s. However, I feel you can never get 100% of everything you want in a cake topper unless you customize it yourself.
So please help.
Should I just get the one I really like and paint the skin, hair and flowers?
Just buy the orginial black couple and just get over the fact that I hate the dress but at least it our color.
I would have to paint both hairs black, the skin a dark color and the flowers red. (My Fiance is also wearing a white jacket but I can get over that).
Hate the dress but I would still have to paint the flowers and Fiance buttons in it. But at least it would match our color.
