Here’s mine. My grandma died when I was 8, and when my mom and her brothers were up at the house going through her stuff, mom told me to pick something out to keep of hers, and this is what I picked. I guess she just had it as a figurine – I know it was never her cake topper. But it’s what I’ll be using and I’m SO glad now that my 8-year-old self picked something that I could end up using on my wedding day to remember her by!

I’m with her–Etsy has such cute stuff, and sometimes it’s surprisingly affordable!

I love the Monogram letters… or just flowers… If you want a bride and groom and want something like flowers on the top you could always stand it up infront of your cake

Well we arent having an actual cake topper. There is gonna be a bride on the top of the cake and a fireman groom on the bottom climbing up the cake… they are gonna have to made out of sugar which i kinda hate because I dunno i would kinda like to keep them LOL

But I have one that i got for my pervious wedding that never happend ….that was so cute i couldnt bare to get rid of it i still have it in the box.. it is little kids but all white I got it at hobby lobby.. I tried to find a picture online but I couldnt find anything

Here’s ours.  Getting married NEXT Halloween weekend 2010.  I’m sprinkling the reception with a little Halloween and the cake topper is one of those areas.

Our cake topper is going to be made out of the light blue fondant icing to match the swirls on our cake. She is making a bunch of fondant balls, kind of like pearls is the impression I’m getting, and stacking them on top of each other in a staggered effect, and Voila!  Edible cake topper 🙂

I would try Michaels and Hobby Lobby. I didn’t really consider them in my search, but I was there today and actually saw several that I liked!
