From BlueButterflyDesign on Etsy.  It was $185, but entirely custom and we intend to keep it forever.  The cats look a little odd in the picture, but in person they are adorable.  She matched my fiance’s USMC dress blues as well as my dress, bouquet, and intended hair style.  And since my fiance’s identity is represented by the uniform, she suggested representing me with a little apple in my bouquet.

She was wonderful to work with, finished before she said she would, and took into account every little nit-picky thing I wanted (which she should, for $185).  Yes, it’s a ton of money for a cake topper, but like I said, we intend to keep it forever.  And it is US in every way.  It was a surprise for my fiance, and he actually really loved it even though he is generally very conservative and traditional.

Ours is just an R that I bought from Michaels today in the 2 dollar section it is meant to be hung on the wall and has a hook on the bottom to hang something on but I straightened the hook and using as a pick in the cake.

Not what you’re looking for, I know, but my great-grandma gave us her cake topper.  She was happily married for 55 years…I’ll take a bit of that luck!

Mine was $80 only because I added my daughter to it… for two people it is usually only $65… I chose to spend that much to suprise Fiance and we are going to put ours up on a shelf kinda like a little statue of us! Its TOTALLY us too! He’s a huge Reds fan & my lil girl & I are DIE HARD White Sox Fans!!!! Got it on ETSY from MudCards!

@emersynsmommy35: We also got ours from MudCards on Etsy!  It was $75 before shipping.  She is amazing and incredibly responsive.  I can’t recommend her enough!

We both LOVE Willow Tree so we got a topper we could put on our mantle later without it really looking like a topper.

@Mrs Hedgehog: I LOVE this. I think I may have to consider if I decide not to go with the one I made.

I made mine using a DIY kit you can buy from ETSY seller goosegrease.  I think it was like $17.
