@Luckygir15 – I am actually meeting again with the baker today so I guess I will ask what she thinks would look best. I was going to put them on top but also kind of want frosting flowers on top. 🙂

I wish my cake didn’t already come with the topper so I could buy a cute one from Etsy! Here’s mine, beach chairs & the little flag :=)

We used the cake topper from my parents’ wedding cake (with some alterations…it had an arch over the top with plastic bells dangling that I took off!)

Before I found out my mom still had theirs, though, I did a lot of searching and there are a TON of vintage cake toppers on ebay, some going for really cheap!

I purchased the same one was Ms. Hedgehog, the Willow Tree figures. That was part of the appeal for us too, having something we could put onto the mantel after the wedding. (And as an added bonus, we got it on kijiji for 15 bucks.

I have to say, though, if I hadn’t found such a good deal, I might be tempted to go with the polymer clay creations I am seeing some of you post. They are amazingly unique and would be a wonderful reminder of the special day.

Love seeing these 🙂

@-female-:  That cake topper is absolutely hillarious!

Our cake topper is the same as the one mandb122 posted.  Although I’m keeping the blonde hair.  I love that the shoes were painted pink though!  It looks fantastic!

I am tossing up between these three.  They are from ebay and range from $24 to $30 plus $5 postage.  I think I am probably going to get the Blue Wrens. YAY

My bunny cake topper. Found at Urban Outfitters for $12. It’s actually a ring holder!

I also got mine from Mudcards. She is amazing. I paid 80 after shipping. We are doing a Baltimore themed wedding. They are the Natty Boh Guy and the Utz Girl. She used a picture of my dress to make the Utz Girl. I am so excited I can barely contain myself. Too bad I can’t show my Fiance, becasue I don’t want him to see the dress.

About $7-8. I custom painted a cheap topper from Party City. I purposely looked for the cheapest, 80’s looking one I could find. It started as this:

And ended up this:
