I am looking at calligraphers to do the calligraphy work on our invitations. However, the lady who is making our invitations does the return address printing on the back of the envelope and the printing of our address on the RSVP envelope at no cost. She said she could have them printed in a font very simimlar to our calligraphy and that no one would notice since one is on the back and one is on the front, plus the return address will be much smaller. This would save us about $100.
I am thinking about just having the calligrapher do the guest address on the front of the envelope, and having the lady we hired for our invitations do the rest (return address on back and RSVP envelopes). Is it tacky to not have the return address match the guest address? What did you have your calligrapher do and what did you have printed?
